Over the past few years, sports funding for primary schools has changed significantly. Previously, the Department for Education provided schools with the Primary PE and Sport Premium, allowing schools to improve PE lessons, purchase equipment, train staff, and offer a wider range of sporting opportunities. However, this direct funding is now being phased out and replaced with a new national school sport partnership model, meaning schools will no longer receive the same annual grant directly.

This achievement recognises our commitment to providing outstanding opportunities for all pupils to participate in sport and physical activity. A huge thank you to our staff, students, and wider school community for helping make this possible.

Please note for the academic year 2019 / 2020 are unable to report how many children were able to swim 25 metres, due to cancellation of swimming lessons due to COVID 19.
