Meeting Matt Lucas
Tuesday 17th October
The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting comedian and children's author Matt Lucas at Westholme School this morning. They loved hearing an extract from his latest novel, 'The Boy who Slept Through Christmas'.
We can't wait to read the rest of it in class.
Busy Bakers

Litter Picking in Barrow
Monday 9th October
Rowan Class have been busy keeping the streets of Barrow litter free. They were disappointed to see how much rubbish is dropped in our lovely village. They have now wrote letters to our local MP requesting more bins around Barrow to tackle the problem!
Barrow Poetry Festival
Friday 6th October
On Friday, we celebrated National Poetry Day at school with our first ever Poetry Festival. Every class recited a poem in front of the whole school, the poems ranged from When I was Six by A.A. Milne to The Highwayman by Alfred Noyes.
Ludo Visits Rowan Class

This morning Ludo joined us for Maths. He was very well behaved and sat beautifully on the chair.
