Year 6 have focussed on a national art project. We had to focus on an area of the artwork 'A Muse' by Cosimo Tura. The children then decided to zoom in on the ivy and use this to research whether beautiful things could be deadly. They learnt about poisonous plants and created plant pressed sections of fabric which they stitched. We then used our art work from earlier in the year to create Dada and Vanitas inspired artworks based around poisonous flowers.
