Year 6 STEM challenge
Year 6 had an amazing morning with Johnson Matthey who came into school to complete a STEM challenge with the children. In teams, the children had to build the tallest tower using dowel and elastic bands. They also had to budget for their materials, design a marketing campaign and think about how sturdy their design would be. They gained 10 points for every cm their antenna was above the ground. Several groups created a tower well above 3m tall!
