Johnson Matthey STEM challenge final - WE WON!
Today some of our Year 6's who made it through to the final of the Johnson Matthey Catalyst challenge WON the overall event. They had to complete in 12 x 3 minute challenges ranging from Maths, building a radio tower, tent & bridge. The bridge had to hold as many cans of beans as possible. They then had to make a plastercine boat to hold as many 1 pennies as possible - ours held 73p. We are so proud of the children who represented Barrow today - well done to all of you.
