Here are close-up photos of some of the wonderful paintings created in the Art Club with Mrs Baptie in Spring term - Painting Pendle for a Politician. 

This Art Club took pupils through a number of processes that a practising artist would use.

Step 1 - Focus on drawing the subject (Pendle Hill)

Step 2 - Looking at the work of abstract artist, Barbara Rae, to analyse her process and commence collaging background (we used artist board)

Step 3 - Acrylic painting

Step 4 - Detail added using Posca pens, pastels, oil pastels looking at our initial drawings as reference material
