Special thanks to the After School Club, Miss Goodwin, and her helpers for tending to our vegetable patch this year. We eagerly anticipate enjoying the fruits of our labour soon! Additionally, we've dedicated a patch specifically for Tiny the Tortoise, brimming with kale and lettuce!
Today Sophie & Isaac our Head boy & Head girl handed over our spare defibrillator to Fiona from Clitheroe United Reformed Church - URC. All schools got a brand new defibrillator delivered, so we wanted to find a good home for our existing one. They will soon have it set up at the church if ever required
A huge well done again to our Year 6 STEM team who won first place in the Johnson Matthey competition. Kate, Tara and Chris came in to present them with a cheque for £250 to be spent on developing STEM within our school.
Mrs. Roath and our Eco Warriors are tackling the Big Plastic Count by adding large recycling bins to each classroom and the hall. They've also set up a battery collection point. With a £3500 prize for playground equipment on the line, we're eager to gather batteries from home, grandparents, friends, and workplaces. Let's win this!

We had an explosive afternoon of scientific fun at our annual Science Fair. Yet again, the children amazed us with their creativity and scientific knowledge. Well done to all the children who entered!
Today our Year 2 children led a Palm Sunday worship for the rest of school. They re-enacted Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem and told us all about what happened. The children spoke confidently and sang beautifully. Well done Larch Class we are super proud of you all.
