Well done to everyone that took part, we had over 50 entries and the standard of handwriting across the school was very high.
A reminder about our football boots and gloves swapping station. Last year, Zach had a bright idea and introduced this as a way of recycling, swapping and sharing items no longer in use. Please come along and have a look. It is in the entrance to the school and open to all.
Our new corridor space has been given a little face lift! Inspired by 'The Big Frieze' by Emma Yarlett , each class has created art work to reflect a stage in the Bible. We then finished it off with twinkling lights and hanging pictures of each child. If you look closely you will even spot Ludo (school dog), Tiny (tortoise) and our bees.
Oak class had an exciting visitor this week! They started off with mysterious ice and snow sprinkled all over the classroom, had to make predictions about who they thought had put it there, and then discovered it was Jack Frost!
Year 6 had an amazing time completing the first round of the Johnson Matthey STEM challenge in our hopes of retaining our winner's trophy! They had to create the tallest free-standing radio tower and use the smallest amount of money possible from their budgets. The winning team created a tower that was 3.43m tall!
Lots of fun in French Club this half term. We’re learning about parts of the body and our task this week was to draw around Lottie and label her…excellent travail!
It was wonderful to see so many children and their families attend Sunday worship at Clitheroe United Reformed Church. Well done to all the children who read and the children who collected the offertory.
Here is the first bimonthly newsletter from the Children's and Youth Work team for 2025.
Our Happiness Heroes have been checking in on our Barrow Bees and even got to taste the honey for the first time. An amazing experience and addition to the Barrow family.
