Oak class had an exciting visitor this week! They started off with mysterious ice and snow sprinkled all over the classroom, had to make predictions about who they thought had put it there, and then discovered it was Jack Frost! 
Year 6 had an amazing time completing the first round of the Johnson Matthey STEM challenge in our hopes of retaining our winner's trophy! They had to create the tallest free-standing radio tower and use the smallest amount of money possible from their budgets. The winning team created a tower that was 3.43m tall!
Lots of fun in French Club this half term. We’re learning about parts of the body and our task this week was to draw around Lottie and label her…excellent travail!
It was wonderful to see so many children and their families attend Sunday worship at Clitheroe United Reformed Church. Well done to all the children who read and the children who collected the offertory.

Our Happiness Heroes have been checking in on our Barrow Bees and even got to taste the honey for the first time. An amazing experience and addition to the Barrow family.
Anchors away, as Year 5 and 6 pupils set sail today for two performances of their swashbuckling pirate adventure, set on the high seas! They certainly took the enthralled audience along for the ride! Well done to everyone who took part.

Sports Awards Evening 2024
On Thursday evening Miss Walker hosted our first ever Sports Award. Parents, children and teachers came together to celebrate the outstanding sporting achievements of all the sportsmen and women at Barrow URC Primary School.
