Year 3 enjoyed learning more about Hinduism today. They dressed up in traditional Hindu clothing, performed a Puja ceremony in class, learnt about the story of Rama and Sita, made Diwali lanterns, created Rangoli designs and learnt a Hindu dance while listening to Ravi Shankar playing the Sitar. An action packed RE morning!
Year 6 had an amazing morning History workshop with 'Delve into History' learning all about the Vikings! They got to handle a range of replica Viking artefacts, try on some Viking costumes and even got to have a go at axe and stone flinging to see how well they completed Viking games. Our game winners then got to drink from the Viking horn as a reward!

We can't wait for the Summer Poetry Festival.
On Wednesday, the children in Year 4 all designed and made their own Mayan headdresses. Their task was to create the most elaborate headdress, so they could be crowned the High Priest.
