FACE Family Support

We are really pleased to share that our school has subscribed to FACE, which offers parents and carers practical advice, information and support, across a wide range of topics, including supporting neurodiverse children, understanding emotions and managing behaviour.

Accessing the talks free of charge: The Barrow URC Primary School access code is BW290126

This can be used by any parents or staff from our school for unlimited access to all the regular FACE Parent Talks (usually £24 each). The code cannot be used on any other FACE services and must not be shared with parents or staff from other schools.

At the payment stage of booking, add the school code where it says ADD PROMO CODE. This will drop the price from £24 to £0.

If you can't make a particular session and would like the recording link to that session you can request it on the booking form. Alternatively, you can email in separately and ask for it info@facefamilyadvice.co.uk. The recording links stay open for 48 hours after the live session has taken place.

School Nurse Drop in session

Thank you to those parents who joined us for the Spring term drop in session. We hope you found it useful. Summer term date to be confirmed soon.

 

Inside Out whole class workshops 

All year groups will be taking part in whole-class workshops led by The Children and Family Wellbeing Service. The Inside Out sessions are fun and interactive, they consist of games, arts and crafts. Our next sessions will have a focus on:

• Managing emotions
• Positive mindset, mindfulness and confidence
• Friendships/healthy relationships
• Building resilience
• Positive mindset, mindfulness and confidence
