FOBS
FOBS (Friends of Barrow School) is our parent-led group dedicated to supporting the school and enriching every child’s experience.
Our aim is simple - to bring families together and raise funds through fun events and activities that benefit all pupils.
What we do
We organise events throughout the year such as discos, fairs and seasonal activities, helping to:
- Raise funds for equipment, resources and experiences
- Support the school with extra opportunities for pupils
- Bring families together and strengthen our school community
Our goal
This year, we’re working towards raising £5,000 to support the school, including exciting projects like a new outdoor learning space - helping create even more opportunities for every child.
How you can get involved
There are lots of ways to support FOBS, whatever time you have available:
- Join the committee - we meet once a month in a relaxed, informal setting, with the option to join online if you can’t make it in person
- Volunteer at events - help out when you can
- Share your ideas -we’re always open to suggestions
- Spread the word - every bit of support makes a difference
You don’t need any experience - just a willingness to get involved.
