Autumn 2
This half term, our topic is Peek into the Past, where we’ll be discovering what life was like long ago and how things have changed over time. The children will learn about the past through stories, play, and hands-on activities that bring history to life. We’re also very excited to invite grandparents to join us for a special Stay and Play session on Thursday 13th November, where they can share their own memories and experiences. We will start off our class stories this half term with Star in the Jar by Sam Hay and Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson, which will help us explore imagination, friendship, and storytelling. We can’t wait to travel back in time together and enjoy this fascinating topic!
Children have been working hard to practise writing their names independently, please encourage your child to keep working hard with this!
We will also be starting to practise our Nativity very soon, ready for our performances on Tuesday 16th December (2pm and 5pm).
