Prospective Parents and Carers

Education is fundamental to future success, so choosing the right

primary school for your child is vital.

'My child is in reception and has settled in brilliantly at the school. He’s talks fondly of all his teachers and is doing so well with his reading. There was lots of useful information for parents around how they’re taught to read which I found really helpful, along with lots of other resources and supporting information about their learning.'

Welcome to Barrow Primary School, a thriving and nurturing primary school nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley. At Barrow, we take pride in fostering an environment where children are supported to 'be the best they can be,' evident in our impressive results. What sets Barrow apart is our equal emphasis on valuing and nurturing personal development. We invite you to explore 'The Barrow Way' on our website, where academic excellence and character growth harmoniously coexist. Join us in discovering the unique qualities that make Barrow a special place for every child. Come, learn more, and be part of our community dedicated to holistic education.

'We are extremely happy with Barrow school, and our child loves going to school every day. The teachers and leaders go above and beyond to provide extra enrichment opportunities alongside placing a firm focus on the core comment. Mrs McArdle is always present and there if needed'
