Remote Learning Guidance

At Barrow URC Primary, we understand the need to continually deliver high quality education, including during periods of remote working – whether for an individual pupil or many. We recognise the importance of maintaining high expectations in all areas of school life and ensuring that all pupils have access to the learning resources and support they need to succeed.

Teachers will plan lessons that are relevant to the curriculum focus for that year group and endeavor to supply resources to support tasks for home learners.
Work for the day in English, Maths and other curriculum subjects will be posted on Seesaw by 9am on the day of school closure.

Any resources used, including websites and activities, should, where possible, be shared with home learners via Seesaw. Staff will add these resources electronically and it will be the responsibility of families to print/use these resources at home. Staff will endeavour to use information, questions and answer sheets, which do not necessarily need to be printed off; they can be referred to and written work could be recorded on plain or lined paper.
