'Rooted in God’s love, everyone growing together to be the best that we can be'

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 17

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge— that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

In the heart of our school's identity is a vision that echoes the profound sentiments found in Ephesians 3:14-19. As a school family, we draw inspiration from this biblical passage that underscores the significance of being rooted in God's love and growing together for collective and individual betterment.

The opening of the verse, "For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name," resonates with our understanding that our school family is an extension of a greater spiritual family, finding its identity in the divine connection with God. Our vision acknowledges and embraces this spiritual heritage, recognising that we derive our strength and purpose from a higher source.

The verse continues by expressing a prayer for inner strength and power through the Spirit, emphasising the dwelling of Christ in our hearts through faith. Similarly, our vision statement articulates the desire for everyone in our school community to be rooted and established in the love of God.
